Southern Dunes is conveniently situated off US Highway 27 approximately 7 miles from Junction 55 of Interstate 4. You can reach Disney World within 20 minutes and the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast within 1 hour. When you have exhausted Disney World, you may want to visit Busch Gardens or the Kennedy Space Centre, which are also less than 1 hour away.

Within the Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club there are 3 communal swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, fitness suites and children's play areas.

The Southern Dunes Clubhouse has a bar and restaurant which serves breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. And of course children’s menus are readily available.
